A tag has been placed on Draft:S.U.F Helsinki, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hi
Thanks for the feedback!
As mentioned in my page, i have a "conflict of interest" for this article. My good friend is working with SUF Helsinki and he asked if i can create wiki page for them.
I understand that the first draft was way too promotional (that i made last week) and i tried to make this new one as neutral as i can, obviously failing at it. Sorry about that.
Intention behind this is however good and i'm just trying to create informative wikipedia page that might help someone searching information about this brand.
If you have any suggestions on how to make it (even?) less promotial any advice is highly appreciated. If not, then i will leave this be - study more about writing proper wikipedia articles and hope that someone else decides to write about SUF Helsinki.
Thank you!

Hi @Tlaine198
I think you may have Wikipedia backwards. We only have articles about topics that we deem are notable, and the contents of the article should be summarised or paraphrased from reliable, secondary, independent sources. You should therefore find those sources first, and then write the article based off the sources.
Writing for Wikipedia is difficult: because you should only be paraphrasing those sources it is important to keep the language dry, neutral, almost like an autopsy report. Check out WP:NPOV and WP:PEACOCK. Qcne (talk) 15:33, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi,
Thank you for your reply. Trying to put it into words; one should be interested about the topic, but still - preferably - have no opinion about it. Tlaine198 (talk) 05:30, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Exactly, yes. That can be quite difficult if you are close to the subject! Qcne (talk) 07:53, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
