PageWriter

Howdy! Great questions. I have gone ahead and moved the page to Motorola PageWriter 2000, but I have left behind a redirect at Motorola PageWriter and Motorola PageWriter 2000x. So there is only one article, under the full name, but the other two names will forward readers to it. If you think there needs to be two articles, one for the 2000 and the other for the 2000x, that is certainly possible as well.

Pictures are a bit more difficult. A picture must have a compatible license to be used, which is usually either GFDL or Creative Commons (BY-SA). Finding appropriately licensed pictures for something like a product is usually pretty rare, the vast majority of images online are under copyright "all rights reserved." Usually that leaves asking permission to use an image, asking someone on the project to make an image, or making an image yourself. This is all outlined at the tutorial Wikipedia:Finding images tutorial. One of the reasons pictures are often missing from Wikipedia articles is the lack of appropriately licensed images on the internet. As such, we're usually in the position of having to create our own images for the project.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions. Great work! --TeaDrinker (talk) 16:20, 22 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
