Languages of Sudan

Hi The Regime. I have just removed a verbatim copy of the Ethnologue's data on the languages of Sudan. This violates the terms of use of the Ethnologue. See Talk:Languages of Nigeria for a similar case and for some directions on how to write a good "Languages of X" article. Thanks for understanding, and best regards, — mark 22:33, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD Nomination: Prayer Warrior

An editor has nominated the article Prayer Warrior for deletion, under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the nomination (also see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on why the topic of the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome: participate in the discussion by editing Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Prayer Warrior. Add four tildes like this ˜˜˜˜ to sign your comments. You can also edit the article Prayer Warrior during the discussion, but do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top of the article), this will not end the deletion debate. Blanking

I have restored your talk page content because I believe you should act upon these messages instead of ignoring them. If you need any help, let me know; but in general, reading through Wikipedia's Policies should be a good start. — mark 20:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Note. I have removed three similar warnings above, together with the images the warnings were about. Please familiarize yourself with the image policies mentioned in this message before uploading any more images.mark 15:59, 26 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do not blank your talk page (again)

You have removed several user warnings from your user or user talk page. These warnings are not put on your talk page to annoy you; they were placed here because other editors have noticed an issue with your behaviour that may require improvement. They are a method of communication and user talk pages stand as a record of communication with you. If you do not believe the warning was valid or have a question about improving your behaviour you can respond here or visit the help desk. If your talk page is becoming long, you can archive it in accordance with the guidelines laid out here. Thank you. — mark 21:16, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Regime, do you intend to contribute to the encyclopedia, or do you see it mainly as another way to talk with your friends? Because Wikipedia is not MySpace or something like that. Once again, if you need help with something specific, related to contributing to the encyclopedia, just let me know; I'd be glad to help. Please don't blank the warnings above again; instead, read them carefully and act on them. Thanks, — mark 21:16, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Revenge"?

What did you mean by "prepare for the worst" on my userpage? — Rickyrab | Talk 02:48, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Auralog

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Auralog, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. File source problem with File:Underoath_promo.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Underoath_promo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
