Speedy deletion nomination of User:The House Designers

A tag has been placed on User:The House Designers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Request reason:

I was trying to create an account page about our company with an info box and table of contents not an article...it was an error on my part..but I wanted to create a page not an article. It was not clear how to do that and I did not realize or intend for it to be published as an article...I was sent this information after my help inquiry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Infobox_company. In fact here is a copy of my inquiry was trying to figure out how to add the table of contents and business logo info box to my page:

As explained below, Wikipedia does not host company accounts or company account pages (though, as an encyclopedia, it does carry articles about notable companies - see WP:NCORP for the notability requirements). If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm not an admin, but I would recommend that you look at our conflict of interest policies - I doubt that you'll be unblocked on the basis of your request. In addition, I took a look at The Sater Design Collection and have nominated it for deletion as being overly promotional. It may not be the article that you want to model. (Non-administrator comment) - To be unblocked, you must demonstrate that you are aware that Wikipedia is not a website for promoting yourself or a company. Additionally, please note that you will need to start another account as this account can't edit while representing a company. You must also be aware that companies must receive sufficient reliable and third-party sources such as news coverage to establish notability. I strongly suggest visiting your welcome links and Wikipedia:Your first article to properly start an article. If you have questions, feel free to ask. Also, please note that there is no such thing here as a private page. Every edit you make, on any page - an existing one or one which you create - is automatically visible to every editor. You need to be aware of conflict of inrerest guidelines, |corporation guideline and notability considerations. Hello. As blocking admin I feel I have not emphasized strongly enough that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. It is not the place to locate an account page about your company. Please reread the messages I left and follow the links. Please read those pages carefully. They should explain that only individuals, not companies etc can have user pages or accounts. That is the reason for the block. You should be able to create an account w/ a username that does not reflect or promote some company or group. Please follow the links and read the polices there. There are not and cannot be group accounts on Wikipedia. Please read about what Wikipedia is not by following this link. The only purpose to being an editor here is a desire to build this encyclopedia. Any other purpose would be a conflict of interest. Promoting one's business would be more appropriate at MySpace, FaceBook or I suppose, FourSquare. Please read and heed the messages from the very knowledgeable editors that have also left links on this page. Thanks Dlohcierekim 12:13, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
