Dear Mary Sparrowdancer-- Regarding your paragraph in "Contrary View" section of the Wikipedia "Nazareth" article, please (1) give a scholarly reference substantiating that Hebrew "n-ts-r" [nun-tsade-resh] is related to Egyptian netjer/netjeru/netjeret; (2) that Egyptian netjer is "used to describe a god or gods, Beings of Light, Shining Ones, Guardians and The Watchers"; and (3) that the "distant land" in Jer 4:16 refers to another planet, and not to the region of Dan that is mentioned in the preceding verse.
