Indeed

I reflect the comment made last April (!) - indeed keep up the good work - and only if we all could have talk pags this quiet! Thanks for your reverting the Tasmania vndslm. SatuSuro 23:33, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gold Standard

Thanks for your correction of my sloppy entry about densities and values. I had a gut-feeling that I should check up a bit more thoroughly first! Still it's nice to see that the essential point I was making still stands up. All the best. DaveApter 16:18, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ponies

If you happen to have a nice photo of a quality pony that is better groomed than the fuzz monster that heads the article and are willing to post it with a GDFL or public domain license, the article could use a good basic conformation shot of a "generic" pony. As for pony rides, I applaud anyone who treats their critters with dignity and respect. Are you at all familiar with the "pony pictures" of the 1950s and earlier, where photographers would bring cowboy regalia along with the pony and take portraits of children dressed as "lil' buckaroos?" Apparently it was quite the gig back in the days when Gene Autry and other things cowboy were hot. Not sure how well such an endeavor would go over today, but cute kid + cute pony = hmmm. A good catch, there. I'm here to make peace for my tweak to your post on the Erskine Childers talk page. There is a sort-of exception to permit this when fixing links, at WP:TPO, so that's what I'm using as my excuse. All the best. --Old Moonraker (talk) 18:42, 6 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Correction, ACW Generals, Thanks

Thanks for catching the typo of April 1865 on the firing of the first shot at Fort Sumter on the introductory article on the list of Civil War generals. I have probably re-read the article two or three times since posting my last revision because I have been thinking about the changes I need to make for clarity, to account for the split off of the two lists of generals and perhaps to briefly or to better explain why the introduction is a little longer than one might expect. Yet, I did not see the obvious error. The old saying about it being harder to proofread one's own writing at least sometimes is true, especially if one has gone through the paper a few times and missed a typo or error each time. A benefit of Wikipedia is that someone is likely to come along later and correct the error. It may be a few weeks before I do the revision since I am working on a couple of other articles and a list that I would like to finish first. I think we can get by with this article as is for a short time. You may want to look at the article again a few weeks from now when I expect I will have revised it. Grammatical error in Talk:Wilmington, Massachusetts

You made a grammatical error whilst complaining about grammatical errors in Talk:Wilmington, Massachusetts. You said, "There are several grammatical errors. (One need not worry about grammar, though, as many readers, including myself, are compulsive copyeditors, and will comb every last bug out of the grammar and spelling.)" This is incorrect. You should have said, "many readers, including me, are compulsive copy editors..." The word "myself" is never correct unless "I" appears in the same sentence.Bundlesofsticks (talk) 01:17, 12 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Myself was right. And you was right. Many reeders including you (yourself) convulsive cpoyeditors. Htanks for ctaching the errror. Now go and find more. There's an entire Wikipedia out there in need of copy editing.Snezzy (talk) 00:21, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

♥IBCPirates♥

I attend the Tewksbury Memorial High School. I read your comment about its motto being and I quote crummy end quote. I'd like you to know that the motto provided is, I agree, rather long, but that is not the motto. Instead of making ridiculous assumptions that you did and calling it crummy, I think you should've found out the facts. I go there, and that motto provided, I scoff at it. That's a description of the school, not the motto. Every morning announcements, I hear the motto and that's not it. Please tell me why you said these things, because if you don't explain your reasonings, I might have to report what you said as disrespectful, because that is what it is. I look forward to hearing back from you soon. Cheers!♥♥IBCPirates (talk) 01:26, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

I'm so sorry, if I was rude on the Tewksbury High School talk page. I was having a terrible day, and I just needed to lash my anger out on somebody. We've all had bad days, so forgive and forget? Because, now I see that you were only saying those things to help the article, not say meaningless rude things. --IBCPirates 17:15, 19 August 2014 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by IBCPirates (talkcontribs)
