A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Skin Tight USA, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Amortias (T)(C) 23:34, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... it is about a group of enthusiasts.

While our meetings are events, They are designed to get bring us together for fun and entertainment. The page will be used to describe who we are and what we do without publishing current event scheduling. It will be used to point out important events that we have had where you can go to find the information about upcoming events but they will not be promoted on this page.

We similar to groups that like superheroes, doctor who, and star trek.

Please do not delete us.

Any questions please email me at the email on file (Redacted) thanks Tobey Slagenweit

Hi Tobey, unfortunatley Wikipedia is an encyclopedic entity. Information needs to be created here in the same manner as you would find in other encyclopedias. If your organisation is notable then you should create an article about it but should not host it on a user page. If you wish to create a new version of this to get it ready for publication can I suggest you start at DRAFT:Skin Tight USA, you can create your article here and when it is ready to publish get feedback from experienced editors about what might need changing before it goes live.
You may also wish to change your username as the current one leads itself to being considered an account that could be being shared by an organisation. You can look at changing your username here. Amortias (T)(C) 23:56, 15 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I went to the Draft:Skin Tight USA as you suggested and retried. How do I invite editors to check it over? Tobey

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

It also appears that your account is intended to be used for the purpose of telling the world about an organization, person or cause that you consider worthwhile. Unfortunately, many good causes are not sufficiently notable for their own Wikipedia article, and all users are discouraged from editing in any area where they have an inherent conflict of interest. You may wish to consider one of these alternative outlets.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you.
