Mass Effect 3 Discussion Page Question

I had to delete your question from the Mass Effect 3 discussion board due to WP:NOTFORUM, but to try to answer your question, you'll probably find it easier to simply buy the Xbox 360 Hard Drive Transfer Kit to transfer all of your data over to your Slim. WANI ♪♫♪ 21:56, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You could also save them to a USB stick on the old console. Then, you would use them on the new console. If you have any DLC you will probably have to run the license transfer wizard available at xbox.com. Dbrodbeck (talk) 22:49, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you both for your help, but the USB stick did not work. I recently purchased the Star Wars Edition XBOX and now I can't seem to migrate the game over. I'm not sure what the added value or benefit from using a Hard Drive Transfer Kit cable would be, but unfortunately I do not have one.

In any event thanks for being helpful, I realize this isn't really a technical support forum so I'll just keep searching for an answer elsewhere.

The transfer cable takes all of your content from one xbox to another. You can find them at Gamestop I know, and other places as well. Hell I have one, of course you probably don't live anywhere near me.... You use the transfer cable, then, you run the license transfer wizard at xbox.com and it all works out. I have done it twice. (I have only done this old 360 to old 360 and old 360 - 360 S, never S to S, so keep that in mind). If you went over to the support forums at xbox.com someone will help you.
