DYKHousekeepingBot down?

Shubinator, DYKHousekeepingBot ran at midnight on the nose, at which point it updated June 23 so it now became pink. However, it did not run at 00:30, even though July 1 had been added to the Nominations page at 00:02. There haven't been any other transactions in the over six hours since, but the bot should have picked up on the addition of July 1. Yes, and not long after I posted here. I guess it wanted me to complain and then look silly...

DYKUpdateBot didn't run; DYKHousekeepingBot still does

Shubinator, DYKUpdateBot missed the midnight update of the main page, so the bot probably needs to be restarted. DYKHousekeepingBot, on the other hand, ran at 00:07, 26 August 2020, so it appears to be fine. I'm going to see about getting someone to do a manual update. Thanks for whatever you can do. Thanks for taking care of it! I think there was some kind of general server outage at midnight for a couple of minutes; MusikBot, which also starts one of its runs at 00:00 (it updates the DYK Nominations page at that time), did not run tonight either; I had to do a manual update to add August 26 to the page (which in turn caused DYKHousekeepingBot to run at 01:07). DYKHousekeepingBot appears to be down

Shubinator, DYKHousekeepingBot last ran at 16:57, 2 September 2020 (UTC), or a bit over 12 hours ago. There have been new nominations and newly passed nominations that should have caused the bot to run, but none of them did, including the beginning of September 3. Can you please take a look and stir it back into life? It could be that there's some kind of problem in one of the nominations that is causing the bot to stop, but there wasn't an obvious unclosed "small" tag, which is the typical non-bot-dying reason. DYKHousekeepingBot seems to be down, as does DYKUpdateBot

Shubinator, DYKHousekeepingBot has not done an update since 15:15, but there has been a new nomination (15:49) and two nominations have been approved (17:05 and 17:22). I didn't see anything obvious that would be causing a problem in the new nomination. Please check, and if the bot is still down when you see this, get it moving again. Many thanks. Just so you know, we have been doing manual updates, and one has already been done for midnight, meaning the next one will take place around 12:10. That's always how it goes, isn't it? Do you have a typical time you check each day, or is it random depending on when you have a spare moment? DYKUpdateBot is off by one day

Hello, Shubinator. Thank you so much for maintaining DYKUpdateBot. It seems that the bot has an off-by-one error. See a recent example: Special:Diff/987497916, where "3 November" was used instead of the correct "4 November]]. More examples: Special:Diff/987498350. —⁠andrybak (talk) 12:53, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Thanks for the bug report! For the first example, it looks like the article was placed on the Main Page on November 3: Special:Diff/986858103. And similarly with the second example, the article was placed on the Main Page on November 6: Special:Diff/987343036. The date situation is a bit confusing - the article's talk page lists the date the article was placed on the Main Page, the archives reflect the date the article left the Main Page. So it's expected that they'll be different at times. Shubinator (talk) 19:23, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
