How many Russians of Basque descent do you know of? Peridon (talk) 21:20, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

There are several. During the Spanish Civil War 3000 Spanish kids got evacuated to the Soviet Union, many of them were Basques, a lot of them stayed in the USSR. For example one famous Soviet hockey player's mom is Basque.
