Sheela, coming to Wikipedia with the sole purpose of adding links to your website to Wikipedia is considered spamming here. Stanford Social Innovations has been warned in the past about spamming Wikipedia with links to the sicconversations podcasts (see, for instance User_talk:Socialinnovations). Please stop.

We have guidelines and policies in place as part of our attempt to ensure our content is neutral. Please see Wikipedia is not a link repository policy, and our external links, spam and conflict of interest guidelines. In general, if you believe a site you are connected with has a link that would improve an article, you are asked to suggest it on the talk page and let editors who do not have a conflict of interest decide whether or not to add it.

I presume you were unaware of the previous SSI history here, it would probably be beneficial to Wikipedia and SSI if you could ensure others at SSI are aware that linkspamming Wikipedia is not an appropriate form of marketing. Thanks. -- SiobhanHansa 20:47, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
