Linking to one's own page

Hello Shaun. It is not recommended to add links to our own webpages here on Wikipedia, since that would result in a conflict of interest (see WP:DISCLOSE). It's also much better to add citations to reliable sources rather than blogs. Dead links can often be fixed by finding them in the Internet Archive.
