Welcome

Hello Sexuality6679 and welcome to Wikipedia! I'm glad you've chosen to join us. This is a great project with lots of dedicated people, which might seem intimidating at times, but don't let anything discourage you. Be bold!, explore, and contribute. Try to be civil by following simple guidelines and signing your talk comments with ~~~~ but never forget that one of our central tenets is to ignore all rules.

If you want to learn more, Wikipedia:Tutorial is the place to go, but eventually the following links might also come in handy:

Float around until you find something that tickles your fancy. One easy way to do this is to hit the random page button in the navigation bar to the left. Additionally, the Community Portal offers a more structured way to become acquainted with the many great committees and groups that focus on specific tasks. My personal favorite stomping grounds are Wikipedia:Translation into English as well as the cleanup, welcoming, and counter-vandalism committees. Finally, the Wikimedia Foundation has several other wiki projects that you might enjoy. If you have any more questions, always feel free to ask me anything on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- Draeco 06:21, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Other Comments

Hello Nathan, I joined the ALP in 1997, after many years of thinking "I really must get around to joining the ALP," mainly because a friend of mine was running for Parliament and I wanted to work on his campaign. I would try not to get too obsessive about it if I were you - there's more to life than politics. That why I try to diversify my interests and write articles like this. I'm glad to see that the genius of Pink Floyd is still recognised among the young - I hope you appreciate the particular beauty of Wish You Were Here, a much underrated album. I look forward to seeing your contributions. Adam 06:54, 18 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why yes I am. But I don't inhale. DarrenRay 01:27, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Teehee, you should google him sometime Sexuality6679. He has something of a reputation. The more time he and his friends spend trolling on Wikipedia, the less damage they can do in the real world. -- pde

As a matter of fact I enter Parliament about 22 times a year, since I work for a politician. And believe me, after having worked for one, you wouldn't want to be one. It's a dog's life. Adam 02:35, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

PS, are we going to see you at Wikipedia:Meetup/Melbourne? Adam 02:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Travel

I try to get overseas once or twice a year depending on other commitments, and on how often my boss decides to send me to things. This trip was to two conferences on human rights. The countries I have been to are listed on my User page. Adam 08:09, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Nathansteele.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Nathansteele.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:08, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Brad Tonini, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
