Information icon Hello, I'm Miminity. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Lepenski Vir, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 13:30, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Miminity Hello Miminity. I see you do delete my messages. I will provide a source but later, since i can't do any major contributions at the moment (i'm currently busy). PS, i have an off topic question, my account is new to wikipedia so i don't really know how stuff works around here settings-wise. Why does it say that my user doesn't exist whenever i try to check my profile? Serbologist (talk) 13:36, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please add the source as you edit as per WP:UNSOURCED, it must be challenged and/or deleted. Edit the page when you are not busy. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 13:42, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lepenski Vir, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 13:44, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, you may be blocked from editing. Jingiby (talk) 17:06, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jingiby what are you talking about? Serbologist (talk) 17:09, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.Jingiby (talk) 17:09, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jingiby Ah, makes sense. However, i'm using the sources they themselves used. For example, on battle of suvodol, the guy used a picture to show as well as sources which stated there were 20000 Albanians, yet he put in 4000-6000. I simply just correct it. Serbologist (talk) 17:11, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Jingiby (talk) 17:22, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jingiby Why? i just explained. Check the sources yourself, you'll see that i'm not lying. Serbologist (talk) 17:23, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 17:59, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Bbb23 What the hell? I got blocked for answering? Serbologist (talk) 18:05, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are block for edit warring as well as continuously adding unsourced material even after being warned 4 times. You can appeal you ban though or wait for the ban to expire. Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 02:04, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Miminity i understand that. But, as i said before. The sources are already in the article, the creators obviously didnt read them. Serbologist (talk) 07:51, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I go check it but if you think you are correct (in my opinion, note that I'm not an admin), appeal a block if you like Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 08:03, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just check some of your recent contribs, I check the sources as well you edits (including edit summaries). It seems you are removing content without noting why you remove them on you edit summaries. And I check the sources given and it seems no information is given about the info you are adding. (note: I don't speak serbian so I only translate some stuffs in there). Do not excuse "adding sources later", when you add a content, because you CAN add it as you edit. (see WP:BOLD for more info). Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 08:20, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Miminity I can show you one of the sources. An example is, at battle of suvodol, the picture that the guy featured himself which is from one of the sources (specifically, life and deeds of KARADJORDJE, Живот и дела КАРА-ЂОРЂА in Serbian), it says that the Serbs met against 20000 Albanians, yet he put in 4000-6000. This is obviously a fallacy. I simply correct them. I'm speaking out of the sources they themselves used. And if you are translating using Google translate, I'd strongly advise you not to. Google translate can barely handle modern Serbian, i tried, it sucks. This is from 1903, which is a bit older Serbian. Not only that, its about 710 pages of pure old Serbian. So if i was you, i wouldn't really rely on translation apps.
Warm regards, Serbologist. Serbologist (talk) 08:36, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know if this is true, even if this if true, I cannot do anything. I'm not an admin, I can't unblock you. Please request a unblock request on this talk page. By creating adding this "{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}" Warm Regards, Miminity (talk) (contribs) 10:00, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Miminity Understandable that you say so. I could however show you proof to it if you'd like, i am Serbian after all. And, side request, i think we got off from the wrong foot here. Lets have a real talk somewhere else, as this isn't really a place for that kind of talking. Do you have any social media?
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

it was a misunderstanding. The creators didn't read my chats nor their own sources, i just corrected them. I'll point it out next time

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 21:36, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

PS, thanks for showing me how to unblock Serbologist (talk) 10:28, 11 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Bbb23 why???? i followed your policy and protocol. In every single edit after the latest block yet, i added source and explanation. Serbologist (talk) 00:10, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
