If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Damodar Mauzo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. DoriTalkContribs 22:33, 1 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Damodar Mauzo has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Status and Advice

It's not going to get deleted. As reviewing administrator, I added a reference. But it reads very much as if you copied it from somewhere, and if so, it needs to be rewritten entirely. Even if not, it needs to be rewritten, for it is not written in the concise impersonal style expected at the English Wikipedia. I'm going to make a start, but you can do this better than I.

Additionally references providing substantial coverage from 3rd party independent published reliable sources, print or online, but not blogs or press releases need to be added. I added one, to keep it from deletion--but you can no doubt find more--What is particularly important is reviews of his books. Any language will do: it not English, give a translation of a key sentence or two; if not online, quote a sentence or two. Please do this quickly. You must have some of this at hand, for you must have written the article using sources. DGG ( talk ) 23:05, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of {{Persondata}}

Hi Sam kirtani,

I'm the bot who is deleting {{Persondata}}. I noticed your edit on Damodar Mauzo in which you added {{Persondata}}. This template is deprecated and deleted. Please stop adding {{Persondata}}. In case you want to support the Persondata project you can help with the migration of the dataset to Wikidata at KasparBot's tool. See Wikipedia:Persondata or contact my operator T.seppelt in case you have any questions.

Thank you very much, -- KasparBot (talk) 01:01, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
