Hi, Sacrublood.
Although this is only my opinion, and I don't wish to enforce it on anyone, I firmly believe that the music played by Disturbed System of a Down, Linkin Park, Korn, and many others is simply a parody of metal. For one thing, they do not play metal, and the tag "alternative metal" is used incorrectly (if you haven't heard any real alternative metal, I would advise you to get some Faith No More or Mr. Bungle, who actually fit the definition of alternative metal by being original and innovative). Yes, people can argue that System of a Down is not nu metal because it doesn't use turntables or rapping, but nu metal doesn't limit itself to those characteristics. That constitutes my first point: I think their music sucks and that it's everything but metal. My second point is that those bands give a completely wrong image of what metal is about. Metal isn't about wearing tight leather pants (see here) or claiming to play metal, while writing albums for Britney Spears and acting like a frickin' rapper (Fred Durst). My third point, and my last one (fortunately for you ^^), is that this music is by no means intelligent (as a whole I mean). The riffs used by most mallcore bands are incredibly simple, few solos are played (or really lame ones), the music is easy to "digest" (musically speaking), with big emphasis on the vocals, similar to pop music. Even bands that claim themselves to be alternative metal, like Disturbed or System of a Down, don't fit the definition in that they actually bring nothing "new" to the metal scene (notice I'm not talking about pionneer nu metal bands, but about nu metal bands that claim to be alternative metal). And even those labeled alternative metal fit the characteristics of nu metal. For example, Disturbed does use some electronic instruments on certain songs (which is a characteristic of nu metal), and System of a Down does use rap vocals (songs like Revenga, for example). Again, this is only my opinion, feel free to like them as much as you like. ^^ Hope you understand my reasons.

Starting a new article
In reply to your question on Talk:Main Page: to start a new article, you need to find a redlink (a link to a nonexistent article, like this one) to it. You can either find a redlink in an existing article, add a redlink to an existing article, or if you can't find an appropriate place to link from, typing the article's name in the search box and clicking on 'Go' will give you a redlink to it (near the top of the screen). It's probably a good idea to read Wikipedia:Your first article before creating your first article (and also the Introduction and Tutorial if you haven't read them already); see also Help:Starting a new page for other ways to create an article. A tag has been placed on Pavel fursov, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
