I decline credit for this DYK. Testing times and Chanakal did the work and the nomination. I just created a stub :) Shiva (Visnu) 04:12, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Shiva, It's me the one who nominated the article. But I declined to take nomination credit. I just formatted the URL and nominated it. That's not much work for a WikiGnome like me. I've seen your fine work in many works. Best with them and please to meet you.--Chanaka L (talk) 04:30, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You too keep up the good work - Sri Lanka is a beautiful and great country and we need to improve its coverage. I'd like to write at least one FA about Sri Lanka. PS - we're gonna beat you tonite (in cricket). Muhahahaha! Shiva (Visnu) 13:04, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not today, perhaps tomorrow. Lol. TC--Chanaka L (talk) 13:09, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Maulana Shakhawat has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Would like some help.

Hi, A user has nominated an article that I have put considerable effort into for deletion simply because he thinks it is "useless". I cannot but help think it has a nationality bias to the opinion. The article in question is List of dignitaries to visit India. I would welcome your support on the nomination page. I am trying to get some support from fellow editors as I believe some people will find the article very useful. Thanks LogicDictates (talk) 20:10, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. I have never used the DYK template, so I've never actually had any experience dealing with it. I will try to add this article as it would gain a few more editors help me obtain data. BTW, what is the process for the AfD? The article is not actually listed in the place where others may discuss it (AfD discussions), nor does it show up on any other deletion request pages. I'm not sure what the procedure is. Thanks LogicDictates (talk) 23:17, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wow... and thanks

Wow. If the DYKs I see on this page are any evidence, you're an amazing editor :) Came here to thank you for the lovely support vote in my RfA. It mattered a ton to me. And I'll remember your note on how I "learnt to let go". Thanks again :) Wifione ....... Leave a message 15:48, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your nomination for Bhutan-Nepal Relations and i thought you would be interested to make an article for Bhutan-Bangladesh relations, Bhutan-Kuwait relations, Bhutan-Russia relations and Bhutan-Thailand relations? Theres not much foreign relation articlesof Bhutan on Wikipedia. If your not intersted its ok. Also sorry if its a big order im just trying to help Bhutan articles and this is an area im not good with. Spongie555 (talk) 04:38, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah, I'm definitely interested. I'm presently travelling but I'll be back by Saturday, so I will start work then. Shiva (Visnu) 10:36, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your DYKs are good. Your contributions too... So was wondering. Wifione ....... Leave a message 11:25, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah I'd love to help out as an admin, but I was inactive for many months and I've been back for only 1.5 months. My commitment to WP is rock-solid, but I think I'll need to put in a little more time to build the evidence. Thank you for thinking of me :) Shiva (Visnu) 00:52, 24 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Review

We are in firm disagreement over a single article, yes. But, I don't think I have had enough interaction with you to do an editor review. Please, don't mind. I really don't think I can justice to the editor review. One thing I can propose tough. Why don't you and I work on the Greater Bangladesh article and see how we can develop it beyond what it contains now? I have had plenty disagreements in the past. But, in most cases, I believe, that actually served the Wikipedia. As long we are constructive and open, this project will keep thriving. Say what? Aditya(talkcontribs) 16:50, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You stole my thoughts :) - I had actually decided to start work on resolving all the outstanding problems on the article. The AfD ended in no consensus, not a clear keep, which means the article needs substantial improvement. I'm currently looking for a few more reliable sources. I'll list my proposed changes on the talkpage first, to get your agreement before I make them. Shiva (Visnu) 21:56, 3 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
