SA 2022 Judging Panel

Dear SReader65, I've noticed that you've deleted the judging panel's lists which is first time the ceremony announces something like this unlike any other past ceremony, to have a references on that, kindly to have a look at the Chinese Wikipedia of Golden Horse Awards ([1]). Thank you.

Best Regards, (Unknown152438 (talk) 16:03, 22 March 2022 (UTC))[reply]

@Unknown152438:, Please discuss this on the talk page. For now, this is to be removed for now. And I went to clean up the article because of lots of proofread and errors in the article. SReader65 (talk) 10:15, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SReader65: Please refer to the template above and I'm not here to fight with you, your "cleanup" is not appropriately done. I'm not sure if you are a new or an old user of Wikipedia. (Unknown152438 (talk) 12:32, 23 March 2022 (UTC))[reply]
I'm a new user so bear with the mistakes. I had also referred to the template already, but I also had read across other award articles such as the upcoming Academy Awards and Primetime Emmys. Again, speak to the Award talk page as see WikiProject Awards|here. I only new here, I make mistakes, so bear with me. SReader65 (talk) 12:50, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SReader65, Glad to hear that you refer to the English version of the template, try to get out of the box and discover more awards' templates which you haven't seen, I'm adapting some of the ideas all around the awards' page to compile at the SA page, make some changes as well probably. Misunderstanding of editing SA 2022 page

@SReader65: I've just noticed that u've moved the content down, but I would prefer for it to be on the top, later will add on some events which is not yet happened during the event. I'm sincerely apologize that I've missed looked the information below. (Unknown152438 (talk) 17:14, 3 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]

@Unknown152438: This is not a misunderstanding; I have to do this though, but I like to address this matter because the edit has too many typographic mistakes and proofing mistakes, including duplicate content. And why you did want to report to the administrator? I did not do anything wrong and because I am new to it, I tend on improving the article. But I ask you again, how long have you work on Wikipedia? I really do not want to resort on asking for request on editing wrongly, and this is not vandalism. I hope you understand. And the reason I moved the content down is to match more on the award ceremony articles like the recent 94th Academy Awards. Please understand. I going to undo that revert, then I let them do the edits if you can. SReader65 (talk) 04:01, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@SReader65: I have created two Star Awards articles, which is the 2018, and 2019 version, and recently, 2022 edition. If you feel like Star Awards is the same award ceremony like the recent 94th Academy Awards, go ahead to do revert in whatever you like, and again, yes, you did not do anything wrong but your action is beyond the line already and I hope yours cleanup is done appropriately. Star Awards is Star Awards is not the Academy Awards, so we don't have to follow the exact same template, I'm also going to change those boring templates in the future. (Unknown152438 (talk) 06:43, 4 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]
@SReader65: And also, edit war is under vandalism category. I'm just here to tell you that, I'm not going to start a editing war with you just regarding to the templates, and I hope that you will learn something in the future. (Unknown152438 (talk) 06:52, 4 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]
@Unknown152438:, hi there, please read and understand WP:OWN. Regardless whether you created Star Awards 2018 and Star Awards 2019, wikipedia is a collaborative effort by the editors. I like to note that you have reverted my change to your preferred version and your version had some copyright violations from copying wholesale from other webpages. There are also some language problems which I fixed and you chosen to revert wholesale also.
My change merges all the awards into a single main section which makes the whole article more readable and less confusing then when the awards are all over the article. Also WP:TRIVIA indicates that trivia is better written as prose which I merge into the article proper. Also if you wish to revert my deletion of unsourced materials, you need to source it, please do not just revert and then not adding source to it later. -- Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 07:31, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) @Unknown152438: Edit warring is not vandalism. You are encouraged to engage with the editors involved on the article's talk page first (or here like now, but the article's talk page is usually preferred), then otherwise, seek a third party for dispute resolution.
I suggest doing that instead of insisting your version is right because you will inevitably approach the WP:3RR or be determined as the one doing the edit warring and be possibly blocked temporarily for that. This is especially so when the other two editors have given pretty sound reasons (copyvio, unsourced, etc) for their conduct. – robertsky (talk) 08:45, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Robertsky:

Thanks! (Unknown152438 (talk) 14:11, 4 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]

@SReader65: @Justanothersgwikieditor:

As I said, I'm not here to fight, if you guys wanted to help to edit, try to refer back to the previous' years' page, which is more reliable. Justanothersgwikieditor, I've seen some changes when I refer back to Star Awards 2021's page, compared to this page, Regardless whether your persistent is right or wrong, please follow exactly pervious' years template. Wikipedia is a collaborative effort by the editors. I like to note that you have reverted my change to your preferred version, and I will not decided to change it back because there will be a edit war going on. I know that I'm not really that expert to know what is WP:3RR and also WP:TRIVIA but as in created SA page for years, I would have some experience in visual formatting. If you guys still stubbornly think that I'm the one who should be taken further action, then there will also need a proof of the [2] on where I did not do a correct citation, formatting, and etcetera. (Unknown152438 (talk) 14:11, 4 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]

@SReader65:

As you said, you're following the 94th Academy Awards template, and well the Eligibility and Nomination is listed first, before the Nominees and Winners. There is no right or wrong when it comes to editing, it seems like you guys gathered and I did not know that whether you guys making agreement or discuss among yourself and did not respect me on my decision. (Unknown152438 (talk) 14:30, 4 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]

@Robertsky:

As you said, I've also open a talk page for everyone to talk and discuss on the template looks, but no one even cares, so is it who's responsibility? I'm not the only person who is incharge of this article, so the I already asks for suggestions on those formatting, but no one even reply on that. (Unknown152438 (talk) 14:36, 4 April 2022 (UTC))[reply]

@Unknown152438 er... which talk page is this? any links? – robertsky (talk) 15:13, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not paste the same reply on two different talkpages, I got the notification here when you pinged me here. Fractured discussions will get nowhere. --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 16:02, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry for the late of reply because of a hefty schedule, but as I said, do it at the Star Awards talk page. I also gonna clarify a few things in case. First, the template that I mentioned earlier, 94th Academy Awards, was just an example only; secondly, we do not cause any conflict when doing any Wikipedia editing, and people have the right to help one out, it problem though is that the manual of editing have some issues and it is more like copyediting. I also happened to know that Unknown152438 only devote time on doing awards-related articles and nothing else, but have shown that he has the interest in doing Wikipedia...
...and to @Unknown152438:, you can seek help with some professional editors and try to do other Wikipedia articles other than doing the Star Awards. Wikipedia is everything you can do and what you can contribute, it is not just this article. I happened to cross this article by chance, but as I new here, I pick some random article and do the basic maintenance, before getting along with it. Well, that explains all of the topic and questions. Thank you. SReader65 (talk) 17:01, 15 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We already clarified at the Star Awards 2022 talk page, whether or not you saw the conversations. As you know that I'm not the user which only focus on one Wikipedia page, I have other articles to edit as well. Unknown152438 (talk) 04:45, 16 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
