Hi there, it's not a company name, it's just a name I've used in the past for creating art for no business purposes whatsoever.

June 2020

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "SFOproductions", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is name of a company. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you.

There's no conflict of interest. The page, as it was, was full of errors, redundancies, incomplete and missing info. I generally stuck to the existing format and content, though. Otherwise, I'm not getting paid for this work, and if Wikipedia would rather rely on people who have little idea what they're writing about, you end up with generally poor content and poor references that are not accurate or definitive, as was the case with Wang Ping's page.

Managing a conflict of interest

Information icon Hello, SFOproductions. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Wang Ping (author), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Agent00x (talk) 19:53, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. 331dot (talk) 22:03, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

According to Google "SFOproductions" is a company. Please propose a new username or create a new account. I would add that if you are working with Wang Ping, you need to review conflict of interest and paid editing. You should avoid directly editing the article about her, but you are welcome to make formal edit requests(click for instructions) on the article talk page. 331dot (talk) 22:05, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Up until now, Wikipedia, and whoever these users are who are chastising me, have allowed Wang Ping's author page to have glaring omissions, dead links, irrelevant references, redundant and outdated information, absurd spelling and grammatical errors, AND OUTRIGHT DEFAMATION BY AN EASILY IDENTIFIABLE INDIVIDUAL ASSOCIATED SPECIFICALLY WITH AN ORGANIZATION THAT HAD A GRUDGE AGAINST WANG PING (who I had to shut down)… all so Wikipedia can say their content is managed by amateur, hack strangers instead of people who have direct access to interview the subject and gather legitimate reference materials?!

What is wrong with you? I created an account only because I thought it might help legitimize my updates, and it does exactly the opposite instead? If you have any sense, you would let me continue to update this page with definitive references from the time the facts of this article originated. That's because they're facts, and they really shouldn't change over time. So, I guess I don't get the point in letting random people put inaccurate and false information up there otherwise. Clearly there are no worthy moderators doing any fact checking, let alone basic editing to bring the content up to a twelve-year-old's reading level.

I used to think Wikipedia was a good reference worth supporting.— Preceding unsigned comment added by SFOproductions (talkcontribs)

The primary issue is your username; once you propose a new username, you will be unblocked so you can make edit requests(as I describe above). Wikipedia is here to summarize what independent reliable sources state about a subject, not what the subject says about themselves. You or Wang Ping are free to use social media or a personal website to say whatever you wish to say. If there is incorrect information in the article about Wang Ping, we want to know what it is, but it needs to be done in the proper manner and with proper sources. If there is defamation or libel in the article about her, you may address it per the instructions at WP:LIBEL(and you don't even need to be unblocked to do that). 331dot (talk) 09:17, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
