Holy Cross College of Calinan

Please explain why you removed the 'primary sources' template from Holy Cross College of Calinan. All of the sources in the article come from the official school website or the school Facebook page; these are the very definition of primary source. The article needs secondary or tertiary sources. If you are unclear what these are, please look over the links above. I would like to put the template back on the article so that other editors will notice the need for additional sources.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! Apologise for that and especially I'm using phone it's too difficult I left a long message on your talk page you can read it there instead of here and thank you so much for the help on our school article Rowrow Yi Boat (talk) 6:13, 16 April 2018 (UTC)

I've reverted your edits. It's not for you to decide that an article about a bird that doesn't even occur in the US should be written in American English spelling. There are other countries in the world. The article was written in British English, and you mustn't change the variety of English that an article is written in Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:59, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Over-linking

Hey Rowrow yo Boat, your work on video games is appreciated, but please look over the information on linking, especially over-linking. It doesn't help the reader when lots of common words like 'game' are wikilinked. It's even worse when the link goes to a disambiguation page and the reader then has to figure out which term you meant. Also, duplicate links should be avoided; terms should be linked only on their first occurrence. All of this helps readers along; if the page is too full of links, it's distracting and hard to read, and if the links don't go to a helpful place, then they are a hindrance. Keep editing! Yeah I will try to avoid it next time. Rowrow yo Boat (talk) 13:31, 21 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Collapse! Crunch requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.mobygames.com/game/collapse-crunch. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 10:28, 22 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
