Can you please explain why you have attempted to remove the copyright tag from this image? Public domain licensing is not revocable. Stifle (talk) 08:56, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- I have been contacted by the person in the photo and learned that simply pulling the photo from his website is not legal, even thought it's online. I've tried to delete the photo both gif and jpg renditions to be legally compliant. I have been unsuccessul.Rotorwingmaster (talk) 17:33, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Removing the tag from an image doesn't delete it; you need to nominate it for deletion using the instructions at WP:FFD. Stifle (talk) 18:10, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
