Managing a conflict of interest

Mr Ollie comments on my edits

Yes, I am a volunteer who helps out at SOF Studios. I was unaware I needed to add any affiliation comments as I am not someone who typically uses wiki for anything beyond reading. Way in the past (memory is not perfect) I may as a public member have posted to another page to add information I was aware of but I had no affiliation there but could not now even say what site that was..lol.

To clarify, I do not use the H-Hour wiki site for advertising, never created it in the first place and only come here when I get frantic conversations, emails or forum posts from H-Hour community members because some troll has posted comments that indicate the game is dead, no longer being published, is not being worked on, or is not going to PS4. In other words, they post on this wiki site to cause chaos which I then have to respond to the community on. What I then do is remove the wrong info and point to links that show the development is ongoing.

If I am not to correct this misinformation, what then am I to do? Should I just have the studio disavow the wiki site, stating it contains false information and cannot be trusted? Do I just report the false information to you guys and tell everyone, we are not associated with this site. Telling them to come fix the information themselves is a waste of time as they will not take the time to do so. Ideas are welcome as this is the third time this wiki has had misleading or fake information posted that caused an uproar in my community. RosieRascal (talk) 12:08, 22 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If and when you want to propose edits to the page, go to the associated talk page at Talk:H-Hour: World's Elite. This is explained in the guidelines I linked for you above, please read them. RE your other questions, your company and your user community should understand that H-Hour: World's Elite, like all Wikipedia articles, is unofficial and not under the control of the article subject. Anyone can edit any page on Wikipedia. Sometimes it will be vandalized, sometimes well meaning people will add incorrect stuff by mistake.
