Wikipedia and copyright
Hello Robertbruceferguson, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Choctaw have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. Infobox removal on Choctaw in the American Civil War
Hey,
you´ve apparently reincluded the infobox that I deleted. You probably missed it but I gave the reasons for it on Talk:Choctaw in the American Civil War. Your edit summary said that the immage is germane to the article. If you´d read that on the talk page you´d know that I have no issue with the image. I also said that you can´t use the infobox military person with the personal data of Jack Amos as infobox for the article as it is about a group of people and not just a single person. The infobox about a person is misleading and, in the end, wrong as infobox for several people. Which should be obvious. So you could either include the picture without the infobox or make an infobox that is suitable (maybe a version of infobox military unit) and use the picture in that. Please also remember that communication goes both ways, which is why there are talk pages, and eases things up. So I´m accordingly removing the infobox again. I don´t want this to turn into an edit war so please think before undoing and rather reply on the talk page if you think that something needs to be said. Thanks and regards ... Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
