This article is now very dated and contains almost no useful information after publication of my book, Distortion; The Cause Of Harmonics And The Lie Of THD. I don't want to undermine my book by posting all the information here, but it would be nice if an editor could read my book and then edit this page to reveal my findings. It's not a trivial matter, all texts on this topic in the entire world are wrong. You can only get the truth through my book.
