Information icon Hello, I'm HitroMilanese. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Derek Ryan (singer) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Our edit of Derek Ryan's Always On My Mind is the iTunes page: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/artist/derek-ryan/id359373288 and in more detail as to tracklist https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/always-on-my-mind/id522289343 . The album even in more detail in AllMusic: http://www.allmusic.com/album/always-on-my-mind-mw0002062571 Also available on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Always-My-Mind-Derek-Ryan/dp/B0045OQF42 . True it is not on Sharpe Music but rather on Nippi Records, an All Celtic Music catalogue label, indicating this might be a limited edition, but it is still a Derek Ryan album. Unless there are two singers named Derek Ryan and this one is different from the Derek Ryan born in County Carlow and former member of D-Side. Please comment to settle this matter once and for all. werldwayd (talk) 16:37, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hitro,

This is a different singer. Derek Ryan bron in county Carlow and former member of D-side's website is here if you need any further information: http://derekryanmusic.com/

I actually word for Derek and would like to put up a picture - can you help me with this?

Amie

I want to make sure Amie. Which album of the ones we are listing now is NOT this Derek Ryan's and should not appear on this page. You mean "Always on my Mind" is not his album? Could you elaborate why this is so and why it is appearing in Derek's name on iTunes? Just a few explanatory words would go a long way? werldwayd (talk) 16:46, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Because there is clearly two DEREK RYAN's.

So we remove "Always on my Mind"? Is that what you are saying? Please answer me and we will remove all data on that album. Plus you should make more effort to tell iTunes to differentiate and open two files like Derek Ryan (1) and Derek Ryan (2). They do this for other similarly named artists.. Incidentally does the "other" Derek Ryan have chart success and singles? This is fascinating. And does he sing country as well? werldwayd (talk) 22:42, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I did not know that was possible - I will contact iTunes about this problem. Thank you. The "other" Derek Ryan is "Genres: Pop, Music, Rock, World" - so I did'nt think that they would be confused. Yes - if you remive this data that would be great. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.51.52.87 (talk) 09:31, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually the uploading of the photo didnt work. The reference you give is invalid. I am ready to help you in the photo step by step as it is worth our while to have a photo of Derek in Wikipedia. werldwayd (talk) 16:43, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That would be great if you could help me to upload a picture :)

  • I am ready to go step by step with you. First step: send me the photo on my e-mail which is werldwayd@yahoo.com And tell me who is the photographer, and will he/she allow it for general use. If you have it on file with you, send me. if it is online, mention the actual link... And we'll take it from there werldwayd (talk) 22:45, 20 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
