Speedy deletion of Necromancer - Grunge Band

A tag has been placed on Necromancer - Grunge Band requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Re your message: Unfortunately, the band is currently not notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia per the guidelines for notability for musical acts. Your reference to a claim of notability, playing at the Kit Carson Amphitheater, is not notable enough. Perhaps in the future if the band has a hit single or album, they will be notable enough for Wikipedia. I am willing to restore the page to your user space so that you can work on it, but unless you can provide citations for the band that will meet the notability guidelines, it will be deleted again should it be moved back to mainspace. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 02:54, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
