Information icon Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Silk Way Airlines, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Notice of conflict of interest

Per message on my talk page.
Information icon Hello, RazorAustin933. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 19:51, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jim1138: Hi Jim, no conflict of interest, simply correcting terminology and status of operations in the interest of clarity, befitting a cargo airline, similar to that of alternative airlines depicted.

@Jim1138: Would presume the clarification hyperlink would be neutral, no? Will defer to your guidance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RazorAustin933 (talkcontribs) 19:58, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Who is this "we" you referred to on my talk page? Per above, discuss this on talk:Silk Way Airlines. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 20:01, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Please sign your talk with four tildes: "~~~~". See help:talk pages Jim1138 (talk) 20:02, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Using "@Jim1138" is insufficient. See wp:notifications for details on using. Jim1138 (talk) 20:05, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jim1138: Respectfully suggest the link citing Embassy of Bulgaria clearance be restored and headlines revised in the interest of neutrality. Many thanks for consideration!RazorAustin933 (talk) 20:20, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest you read wp:NPOV regarding "neutrality" and "bias". Discuss this on the talk page and not here. Jim1138 (talk) 20:23, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  1. Please answer the question above, asking who you meant by "we". Does this mean a group of two or more people using this account? Does it mean an organisation that you are working for?
  2. Considering that your editing consists largely of removing adverse content and adding favourable content about an airline together with adding adverse content about another airline, you can probably understand why there is an impression of a conflict of interest. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:32, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

{{Ping|JamesBWatson} I'd understand but find it more odd a statement from a neutral third party providing clarity is consistently being removed. I'd be satisfied with simply the response being published in the interest of transparency.

Notice of edit warring

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Silk Way Airlines. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 20:11, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit-warring, continuing to do so after being informed of the edit-warring policy, and warned that continuing to so so might lead to being blocked from editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:44, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • This is the third time of asking. You referred to something done by this account as having been done by what you referred to as "we". What does that mean? The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 20:46, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

{Ping|JamesBWatson} We is simply a fellow industry analyst and myself. I'm the sole user of this account and was attempting to add clarity to a section that appeared less than neutral.RazorAustin933 (talk) 20:48, 19 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Silk Way Airlines v Volga-Dnepr Airlines

Interesting how you several times removed or downplayed content unflattering toward Silk Way Airlines such as 1 2 and added unflattering content to their competitor Volga-Dnepr Airlines here Jim1138 (talk) 04:39, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Jim1138: Upon further evaluation, this account appears to be a sock of Faldsetry. The editing behavior in the revision history of the Silk Way Airlines says it all. LightandDark2000 (talk) 07:16, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@LightandDark2000: Yes, and several other accounts too. Thanks for pointing it out. I have made the block on this account indefinite. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:19, 20 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
