Removing Speedy at DACI

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from DACI. As reviewing administrator, I did not delete the article, because it might be different enough to be a separate article; I am not an expert in this subject and do not want to make that decision by myself. But both this article, and the one in the neWP, seems from the references and external links to be aimed at promoting the particular product of a single company. (I recognize that in this field the individual products can be very distinct, but we still prefer the generic names) I therefore moved the article to Direct action cochlear implant, leaving a redirect.

The current article seems to be addressed to the potential customer, which we consider promotional. We also have a rule WP:MEDRS, that specifies the sort of references needed for medical articles. The various WPs are somewhat different about sourcing. DGG ( talk ) 16:09, 9 July 2013 (UTC)
