User talk:ProhibitOnions/List of films with similar themes and release dates
I've been searching for this page for the better part of a week. Has it been removed from the main wikipedia and moved? What happened? I notice that all the edits I'd made are missing from this version. Are we still welcome to make edits now that it is a user page? I'm a little hazy on proper wiki protocol.

- What you might be able to "get away with" is adding similar movies to movie article "See also" sections like I did to Avatar and Surrogates. It's a lot more work but it is interesting to see similar movies. Another option is to make more film theme/genre categories, Category:Lists of films by common content, and/or Category:Films by topic, like "Films about telepresence" or whatever. If List of films featuring extraterrestrials and even something as innane as Skyscrapers in film can exist, there's no reason other "Lists of films with x" can't too. -Eekerz (talk) 13:32, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

I really enjoyed this article and a big "thank you" for preserving it. I made some edits myself. Although I would never advocate a deletion of such an interesting and useful article, I understand that it's not for Wikipedia. Unless the similarities are sourced or already pointed out, the whole article is "Original Research". I have nothing against "Original Research" but it is the main criterium of what stays or goes, and not interestingness or usefulness. pictureuploader (talk) 10:24, 11 September 2010 (UTC)

There is currently an article titled "Twin films", dating from June 2011, that seems to cover the same ground as yours, except that it has fewer films, and doesn't attempt to describe the films in the list. You might want to update that article instead of trying to get yours revived.
