You have changed it to read that this condition only presents when the blister forms. The change involved removing referenced text and replacing it with non referenced text. We had a case here not that long ago that presented long before the blister. The doc who say it said he could see the worm moving under the skin. He made a cut and pulled it out. Image on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
Hi I see you you've removed the image mugwump added to hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. Was this because of inadequate quality or because she removed the info box header? This image was created a by a student for a WikiSchool project (WP:APBAPST). Just curious about your rationale as I am the lead editor of the project. - Both. I liked the look of the image, and a good image could definitely add something to the article, but felt it was potentially misleading visavis the realities of haematopoietic stem cell transplantation. It seemed to show bone marrow being either injected into, or removed from, a femur directly. However, haematopoietic stem cells are only taken directly from the bone one time in five, and when they are, they are taken from the hip. And when given, they are infused into the blood via a central line and engraft themselves into the bone marrow, rather than being injected into the bone directly.[1] I applaud the initiative of your wikischools project, by the way, and hope I haven't hurt anyone's feelings. - Thanks for your thoughtful comment it is certainly welcome and appreciated (and obviously valid). Per the misleading elements you cite I have taken the image down. First and foremost Wikipedia is a collaborative effort to build an accurate encyclopedia of all human knowledge, the school project is merely ment to add to this not replace it or suspend it, the students know that and are prepared for people to take down their images for accuracy or quality issues - they have the choice to make revisions after that or not.
