If you check the information provided in my blog you'll see that it is written by someone who has knowledge in the subject of classical guitar. The Internet is about linking information. I don't have time to write over and over about guitar in different sites such as this and other forums and user publishing sites. This is were the linking concept shows its essence of existence. You may argue that I promote my own site (blog). True, but where is the problem? See what I provide in it. It is a contribution to music culture - valuable one, not banal. You are, in this way, blocking knowledge to which people have the right to have access. You are going against the main purpose of the WWW. You may also ask me why I don't edit in Wikipedia If I so wish to share my knowledge with other people. One simple reason; Wikipedia can be publish by anyone disregardless one's competence for doing so. I don't like that. I am a guitarist, composer and professor educated in the Music Academy of Zagreb (one of the best guitar schools in the world) with some good experience and receiver of excellent critics concerning my compositions and peformances. I also write for a Croatian magazine called "Drvo Znanja" which is the Croatian version on the "Tree of Knowledge". When I was living in Madeira (Portugal) I used to be associated with an important organisation (Xarabanda) that exists with the purpose of preserving the etno culture of Madeira. During that time (several years) I recorded, transcribed and published music from the peoples of the island. I was the only one doing it. I also performed arrangements of such music (besides classical and my own creations), and recorded for several labels and radio/tv programs. I'm a serious person in this matter and I don't want to have my writings changed by other people. Sometime ago I did some research on the great guitar composer Barrios. When I read the wikipedia I was terrified by the amount of trivial mistakes present in that article. I noticed similar demonstration of such uncompetence in other Wikipedia articles. That is why I believe that only experts should be publishing. And the WWW can be very useful in providing the world with their writings. I gave you my reasons why I prefer to publish in my own blog and offer you a link to it instead of editing in Wikipedia. You should see its logic if you possess any amount of common sense. To end, I would like to know who is associating me with porn and spamming. I feel quite insulted with it. My blog is hosted in Blogger. They are successful in avoiding spammers. Maybe one of the links provided by me? But which one? Maybe from an AdSense link? If it is from Google's AdSense then you should remove any link to sites that provide AdSense links. Or even report Google from providing those links. By doing so you would be using the same criteria to everyone and that is fair. I'm looking forward for your reply. Please, understand that when I use the word "you" I mean to anyone who has been reporting my links as spam and so on. Don't feel, Femto, personally attacked.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did with links to a2zguitar.com (*|search current). Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. Since Wikipedia uses Nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. I'm currently more or less inactive on Wikipedia, so please excuse the brevity of my reply.

Wikipedia's fundamental purpose is to create free content. Merely collecting links to the WWW doesn't expand the encyclopedia and thus is detrimental to its goals. If you don't have the time to add actual content, suggest your site on the appropriate article talk page where unaffiliated editors may decide whether or not to include a link. One of Wikipedia's pillars is neutrality: the problem with people adding links to their own sites is that they're hardly ever neutral about them. In fact, such conflicts of interest are so big a problem that we've got automated bots monitoring for suspicious link activities. You're referring to Wikipedia:WikiProject Spam/LinkReports/a2zguitar.com in particular, I presume? (your questions there got overwritten by the bot) Don't worry, no one's calling you a porn spammer. I believe a report page was started because the IP address that your blog hoster uses has been abused before. (Note that it'd still be preferable not to add any more links to sites that you own, in any case.)
