Information icon Hello, I'm Larry Hockett. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Larry Hockett (Talk) 03:55, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sabbatino I have sources from bleacher report and the inquirer
A transaction, hiring, etc. is not official until the team announces it on its website. In addition, the sale of the Jazz is not approved by the NBA Board of Governors at this moment so the owner of the team is still Gail Miller. You should read WP:SPORTSTRANS and WP:RSBREAKING before making more edits in the future. – Sabbatino (talk) 18:28, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 3

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Daryl Morey, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Highland High School. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Tony Bradley, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 23:04, 23 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you make disruptive edits to Wikipedia contrary to the Manual of Style, as you did at Daryl Morey. You have several recent warnings already on your talk page about the Manual of Style, this is not a mere suggestion, but a requirement. Read the link and adhere to it please, consider your formatting changes to the Morey article a Flagrant foul and any subsequent intentional flouting of the very clear rules and standards to be considered a Flagrant 2. Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Is is not better. It is simply meant for marketing by the Hawks and is not an official logo by the NBA. I also see that you have no intention in getting familiar with certain guidelines and policies so I am not going to discuss this further. – Sabbatino (talk) 17:24, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Julia Letlow (representative) moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Julia Letlow (representative), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. It does not yet contain verification that Letlow is projected to be the winner. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. As a rule, if you discover a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If a page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Syro-Malabar Catholic Eparchy of St. Thomas of Chicago, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Your editing has seemed almost entirely fine, but a couple of peculiar edits in the last two days just raised my eyebrows. While I'm using the warning template, I presume this was a minor slip in your otherwise very helpful editing; just remember to use sources and double-check if an image is free! Thanks! ~ Pbritti (talk) 00:26, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Arthur Johnson (athletic director) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established with independent substantive sources. Sourced only to his employer's biography of him, which is not independent.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You cannot edit any WP:BLP article about a politician to indicate that they hold a specific political office before they have been sworn into that office. Request reason:

You can see that after the other warning, I did not repeat that action. And I will never again. I feel like with nothing after my warning and me showing remorse, I should be unblocked and if I do, I should be blocked for a longer period of time. Hello, Phillypaboy123

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username BoyTheKingCanDance, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I’ve proposed an article that you started, John Panamthottathil, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. To prevent the deletion, please add a reference to the article. You may remove the deletion tag yourself once the article has at least one reliable source.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|BoyTheKingCanDance}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Hey, I just started making the make and will add on to it today as well. Thank you for reminding me! Phillypaboy123 (talk) 17:57, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, City Controller of Philadelphia, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:57, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Ernakulam–Angamaly Major Archeparchy Logo.jpeg

Thank you for uploading File:Ernakulam–Angamaly Major Archeparchy Logo.jpeg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 09:00, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Syro Malabar Logo.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://www.syromalabarchurch.in/assets/images/resources/mount_logo.svg and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
