The article Javier El-Hage has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert (talk) 08:27, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Javier El-Hage/bare urls

Hi Pedrorobertopizano, thank you for your message. The bare URL problem in this particular article is perhaps a bit difficult to explain, and perhaps a bit difficult for me to effectively resolve myself given the fact that your references are currently formatted in such an unusual and inconsistent manner. My best recommendation in this case is to urge you to follow the links in the banner message (WP:Bare URLs, and WP:Citing sources) to get a better understanding of why the banner is there to begin with. Once the issue is understood, it should be much easier for you (as the author of the article) to address the problem. The blue-link portion of your references should appear as written text, and not as a number; example:

  • Tribunal Constitucional de Bolivia ("abogado patrocinante"/attorney filing suit), Exp. 2007-15576-32-RDI.[1]. Retrieved 5 July 2012.
Incorrectly displays with a numbered link, however, changing this to:
would resolve the bare URL issue, as the blue number now appears as words

If such a fix could be applied to all your references, the {{cleanup-link rot}} template could then be removed. Better yet however, would be the use of citation templates; example:

  • {{cite web |author= |url=http://www.tribunalconstitucional.gob.bo/gpwtc.php?nombre=Carlos%2520Javier%2520El-Hage%2520Guaristi%2520&name=consultas&file=searchname |title=Abogado patrocinante/attorney filing suit, Exp. 2007-15576-32-RDI. |publisher=TribunalConstitucional.gob.bo |date= |accessdate=2012-07-05}}
would render this in the article

"Abogado patrocinante/attorney filing suit, Exp. 2007-15576-32-RDI". TribunalConstitucional.gob.bo. Retrieved 2012-07-05.

If this is still not clearly understood, and you are unable to address this issue yourself, just leave the {{cleanup-link rot}} template in place as it will call the attention of someone who can, and does not pose any threat to the article.  -- WikHead (talk) 23:00, 10 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Javier El-Hage, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page El Heraldo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:22, 14 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Colombians requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Categories

Hi - you didn't need to create Category:Colombians because Category:Colombian people already exists... however, for Juan José Salazar a more specific category already exists, Category:Colombian record producers, which is already a sub-category of Category:Colombian people, so there is no need to add this as well.

I changed Salazar's category to Category:Colombian record producers, and as a result, Category:Colombians is now empty, and as you can see above, it has now been proposed for speedy deletion. I hope you aren't offended, but as you can see, it wasn't necessary to create this category. Thank you Richard3120 (talk) 14:53, 14 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
