Peer Review

The article I am suggesting a change to is to the Johnstown Flood National Memorial [[1]]

My suggested change would be to hyperlink the South Fork Fishing and hunting club. South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club in the sentence "along with the farm of Elias Unger and the clubhouse of the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club which owned the dam and reservoir."

Another suggestion would be to diversify the references. This source provides more information on Elias Unger and provides information such as the memorial was known as the "Unger House" for years. https://www.nps.gov/jofl/learn/historyculture/colonel-elias-j-unger.htm

@PatFusty: Hi Andrew, Dr. Sarraf here. Thank you for explaining the edit you'd like to make. I agree that it's a good idea to hyperlink to the Wikipedia article about South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club. I also like your suggestion to use the NPS source to support claims about the memorial called Unger House. Can you explain where you'd place that source? It'll be best if your added source is used to enhance a specific sentence. Can you show the original passage, your proposed revision, and your justification? Please see other classmates' posts for ideas on how to format your peer review page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Skiv99!KjessJKT (talk) 13:33, 25 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@PatFusty: Dear Andrew, After reading your suggested edit ideas, I think it would be a great idea to hyperlink the South Fork Fishing and Hunting Club, as I hadn't thought of that myself. Adding sources is definitely something this article needs as well, and the addition of a source on the Unger House would be beneficial. I think it would also be good if you wrote a little bit more about the Unger House in your edit as well to give a better overall view of what's at the Johnstown Flood Memorial. If you do add more about the Unger House would you put it in a new section to help with organization or no? I think this is a decision to be made once you decide how much information you'll be adding (modifying one sentence or adding multiple sentences). Based on what you're writing about, it shouldn't be hard to stay neutral and simply state the facts rather than offering a perspective, as this is very important on Wikipedia. The source you're using also looks strong, and I see no problems with it. I wish you could have posted your actual edits, so I could give you more specific ideas and offer advice, but based on what you plan to edit, I feel going off what you have and my suggestions, your edit will be successful.
