HELMCA

The Hellenic Electroacoustic Music Composers Association is the National representative of electroacoustic music in Greece. Moreover, HELMCA is the official Greek Federation of the International Confederation of Electroacoustic Music (ICEM) http://www.cime-icem.net/. Moreover, is the national member of the IREM - International Rostrum of Elactroacoustic Music in UNESCO. It has more than 70 members and organizes various national and international events.

We believe such an association must be part of the Wikipedia. Please advise us what to do in order to be part of it and to follow the wikipedia regulations.

I'm sorry but I have deleted the page as a WP:COPYVIO. I am not sure how to make you understand that you cannot copy and paste text from other sources unless the source text has explicitly been released to GFDL. GDFL is the "copyleft" licence that Wikipedia uses and which basically means that it is available for anyone to use anywhere they like either as posted or changed as they wish. There are two ways to confirm to us that the text has been released:

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on your website a statement which releases all its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later.

Send written confirmation that the text has been released to GFDL which should be forwarded to the email address "permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org"

You should not post any material until one or other of these processes has been done, and you should indicate on the talk page of any article which uses the "copyright" text how it has been released.

Also I must mention the issue of your potential conflict of interest. I am assuming from your username that you either are the VP of HELMCA or editing on behalf of him? Whilst it is not specifically disallowed, people editing articles about organisations they work for is strongly discouraged as we recognise that closeness to a subject may make it very difficult to be neutral - a good rule of thumb is that if a subject is notable enough for inclusion in Wikipedia then likely an uninvolved editor will be along soon enough to create a page.
