Photos and infoboxes

It's great to see you taking and uploading photos. I'm part of a project that has been writing Wikipedia articles about heritage-listed properties in New South Wales, so I am seeing your photos appearing on some of these articles. I can see you are new and I am guessing that you have not yet figured out how to put the photo into the infobox (the box on the top right of the article). If you open the Wikipedia article to edit it, double-click on the infobox (or click once and then click the Edit button which will appear). You should then have a pop-up with a lot of fields. Scroll down to find the "image" field where you put the file name of your image on Commons and to find the "caption" field and put whatever the appropriate caption is. If you go to Lewisham Sewer Vent and open it for edit and double-check the infobox and scroll through the fields, you will see how I have added the image/caption for your photo so it appears within the infobox. So give it a try with your next photos. Any problems or if you need any help, don't hesitate to ask me. Kerry Raymond (talk) 05:11, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
