Information icon Hello, I'm Fragrant Peony. I noticed that you recently removed content from Max Martini without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Fragrant Peony (talk) 18:53, 4 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fragrant Peony, I kept making a mistake with the cross-reference. And I attached the reference to both tv and the film sections. It should be in the film section. I just couldn't see the mistake until viewing. Check it out now and see if it is correct. Thank You — Preceding unsigned comment added by OldNatchezTrace (talkcontribs)

Fragrant Peony, If you could help with that edit, it is still doubled up on that page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by OldNatchezTrace (talkcontribs)

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Johnathon Schaech‎, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. rsjaffe 🗩 🖉 23:56, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello OldNatchezTrace. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Johnathon Schaech, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:OldNatchezTrace. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=OldNatchezTrace|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. The edits to Johnathon Schaech and the edit summary you left make me suspect your a paid editor. scope_creep19:12, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a paid editor, nor do I have a financial state. Talk Just a history buff, You? [[ User: OldNatchezTrace>]]1;21, 8 NOVEMBER 2021

Thanks, Coolio. Do you know him, or his family, or work in any organisation where he works? Thanks. scope_creepTalk 19:29, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I wish, You don't like him do you?

Here's another Gregg Araki reference. https://www.vulture.com/2019/03/gregg-araki-now-apocalypse-interview.html

I don't understand why that's not allowed on the actor's page. If you'd like to explain, I'm still learning.

Why would you say that? I don't know the guy, never met him, never likely to meet him. People only say such things if there is a personal connection, which is curious in itself. It ok to admit it. It not really a massive thing. You put a notice, so your edits can be tracked and that it is. I understand that people have to have a roof over the head, and if I needed to be a paid editor to make money, I would do it in a New York minute. Please sign you comments with the four tildes ~~~~. scope_creepTalk 19:47, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That cool. I'll leave it there I guess. scope_creepTalk 20:04, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry grandmother is very sick. I love 90's movies. I enjoy those actors, I enjoy military films as well..., I guess liking movies on a book site is strange.I'm reading up on the signature thing OldNatchezTrace (talk) 23:15, 8 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited A. J. Buckley, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paramount. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:00, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Advice for posting on my talkpage (or any talkpage)

Hi again, OldNatchezTrace. Do please use the colons for indentation on talkpages as I indicated here, and use Preview to see how your post comes out. (Nobody's likely to notice your latest post on my page, which didn't come out well at all - take a look.) I've already said this in the discussion on my page, but I'd probably best post this on your own page as well, since you don't seem to be noticing what I say there.

You're very welcome on my page, and I do realize that using Wikipedia talkpages is full of traps for new users. You'll get the hang of it, I'm sure. Bishonen | tålk 13:44, 14 November 2021 (UTC). --OldNatchezTrace (talk) 20:20, 15 November 2021 (UTC)well, I appreciate you very much as you can tell, you make a mistake and you can't correct it with this program.[reply]

Consider using Preferences > Beta features > Discussion tools, IMO it makes talkpages quite a bit easier. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:43, 14 November 2021 (UTC) --OldNatchezTrace (talk) 20:20, 15 November 2021 (UTC)thank you, I'm not sure how to even get over there.[reply]

Johnathon Schaech

Hey, please don't revert other people's edits like you did mine at Johnathon Schaech. Everybody is entitled to edit but you should be bear in mind that you are a very inexperienced editor and a lot of other editors have been at this for a long time. First, take a look at MOS:OPEN - you might be surprised to see that there is a Manual of Style and that it describes in great detail how article are written. It also describes what should appear in the opening paragraph. Also, not saying you might be tempted to edit back and forth over which version you prefer (which is called edit warring but be aware it is frowned upon, heavily, so take a look also at WP:3RR which gives an overview but there's also very little tolerence for gaming this guideline (e.g. 3 reverts in 28 hours, etc). Thank you. HighKing++ 15:38, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I'm sure you agree it's not easy to find that mos open. I didn't see any attempt of an edit, just a deletion--but I agreed with what you said. --OldNatchezTrace (talk) 17:06, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not here to be right --OldNatchezTrace (talk) 17:06, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, it is perfectly fine to list the reasons why Schaech might be considered to be notable (the roles he is best known for) in the lede. I see you've removed another part of the lede but just to say it might be better to leave a list of some of his better known works. HighKing++ 18:01, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
For example Schaech is best known for his role as X in Y or Schaech has had major roles in several movies such as X, Y, Z and also the TV series A and B. HighKing++ 18:04, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

didn't want to offend you any more --- you erased some credits from the article so I didn't want it to redundant with edits. Adding what you erased. There was a previous editor that pointed out that what "best known" to one person is different to another. When trying to navigate an artist with a long body of work. I've been reading as much on the subject as I can. Thanks --OldNatchezTrace (talk) 18:19, 17 November 2021 (UTC)--OldNatchezTrace (talk) 18:19, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
