Please read through WP:BLP. Your recent edits have violated it. I'd also advise you to read through WP:DUE as well. Traumnovelle (talk) 06:45, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Based on BLP1E, this is categorically false. This shooter is not circumstantially different from John Hinckley Jr., who is directly cited in the policy. Multiple reliable sources have confirmed that Thomas Matthew Crooks shot at Trump. This is not a violation of neutral point-of-view. It is indisputable fact based on FBI confirmation. He doesn't have an article so he is not directly comparable. Adding this information to unrelated articles is certainly a BLP violation, amongst other policy issues. Also be aware of WP:3RR which you've gone over. Traumnovelle (talk) 07:01, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This is only due to the recency of the events. He has been covered by a redirect the "perpetrator" section of "Attempted assassination of Donald Trump." The article is clearly not unrelated, as Ardmore, Oklahoma features list John Hinckley Jr. Oksowhat (talk) 07:14, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You're speculating. Speculation is entirely inappropriate for BLP. You looking through a school year book to find a person with the same name is a complete BLP violation. Traumnovelle (talk) 07:16, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And NBC, NYT, WashPo, etc. stating he was the shooter is speculation regarding the Bethel Park page proper? Oksowhat (talk) 07:19, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They appear to use suspected in their titles. Stating him as anything other than a suspect is a BLP issue, and given this isn't an article about the incident in question including a suspect is inappropriate. Traumnovelle (talk) 07:22, 14 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
