Please stop adding unnecessary spam links on Wikipedia.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ankur.sinha (talkcontribs) 21:21, 10 October 2012‎

Ankur.sinha Please stop removing useful links. Links are added at request of university. The link to your own website could be considered spam. Your next attempt to undo useful links will be reported. (Nphar 13:01, 15 Oct 2012 (UTC))
Nphar, Wikipedia is not a university, nor is it connected to any university. Looking over neilixandria.com, many of the texts there do not give full attribution on some of the texts (the Dead Sea Scrolls section is especially worrisome), and appear to have been taken from Wikisource, Sacred-texts.com, and other more established sites with more material and more comprehensive treatment of said material. Your dedication to adding the site, plus the "Neil" in the site's name and the N in your username makes it hard for me to not think you're connected to the site. Ian.thomson All links were added at the request of my students because they have an option to print as an eBook. I took care to ensure there were no similar links on any of the pages. I will continue to do so, as I've no desire to continue to send them via email. If you know of a similar site with this feature, let me know. Nphar (talk) 13:21, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Being able to download any piece of text as an epub might well be appreciated by your students, but your page at http://neilixandria.com/index.php/Shabaka_Stone appears to lift copyrighted translation text from a 2006 publication, and Wikipedia should never link to "a page that illegally distributes someone else's work". --McGeddon (talk) 17:34, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)I notice that if one were to donate money to the site, they would get a copy of "Beyond the Bible" by Neil P. Harvey. Is this correct? Ian.thomson (talk) 17:42, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I am unsure. It is a helpful site and as I said my students brought it to me and requested it. If you know of another with the same option, let me know and I will make the corrections. Nphar (talk) 15:28, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm MrOllie. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is COI spam links by SPA Nphar. Thank you. Ian.thomson (talk) 18:35, 18 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
