The article Louis Späth has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Bgwhite (talk) 00:45, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Gap junction protein, alpha 1, 43kDa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

The page title has been entered with an error - but instead of deleting it, its author then moved the entire page to a new, more correct title. Currently, nothing links here and there is hardly an chance this erroneous title would ever come up in a search.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. kashmiri 23:02, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Request to take part in a survey

Hi there. I would very much appreciate it if you could spend ~2 minutes and take a short survey - a project trying to understand why the most active Wikipedia contributors (such as yourself) may reduce their activity, or retire. I sent you an email with details, if you did not get it please send me a wikiemail, so that I can send you an email with the survey questions. I would very much appreciate your cooperation, as you are among the most active Wikipedia editors who show a pattern of reduced activity, and thus your response would be extremely valuable. Wrightia antidysenterica

Hello Nono64, in your article on Wrightia antidysenterica you mention that this species is sometimes mistaken for Holarrhena pubescens and have made a redirect from Holarrhena pubescens. I wonder if instead you meant that Holarrhena antidysenterica is a synonym for W. antidysenterica, as H. antidysenterica is mentioned in later revisions to the article and I cannot find a source for the H. pubescens synonymity. Thanks, Declan Declangi (talk) 02:10, 18 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This has been cleared up by Plantdrew with H. pubescens now a separate article. Declangi (talk) 02:56, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've looked into it further, but I'm basically doing WP:SYNTHESIS to try to make sense of it, so can't really cite any sources. I think it's best to treat Wrightia antidysenterica and Holarrhena pubescens separately for now, but it's really quite a mess. W. antidysenterica is used as a name in contexts about an ornamental plant. Holarrhena antidysenterica/pubescens refer to one species (or two closely related species) in contexts about medicinal plants. The ornamental and medicinal contexts may all be about the same plant, but the botanical literature is quite confused and I'd have to resort to WP:SYNTHESIS regardless of whether there are really two plants or one. I've made some notes with links to sources at User:Plantdrew/Holarrhena_pubescens. Plantdrew (talk) 04:22, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of M10 motorway (Pakistan)

Hello Nono64,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged M10 motorway (Pakistan) for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Xx236 (talk) 08:13, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Empower (software) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Hello, Nono64. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, A16 highway (Lithuania), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

A tag has been placed on A5121 road (Great Britain) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.sabre-roads.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=A5121. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion".
