I took all the information about George Pollock from a book I have called "Memoir to Illustrate the Origin and Foundation of the Pollock Medal", published by Boddy and Co., Military Publishers, Woolwich, 1875, and probably written by Field Marshall Sir Linton Simmons Nickdg 14:35, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
