List of nicknames of British Army regiments

This is not an official regimental nickname and the ref does not claim it as a nickname --Jim Sweeney (talk) 18:07, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The refs you have added do not claim the regiment used this nickname its a derogatory name used by others User talk:Jim Sweeney|talk]]) 18:39, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
Even if it were considered derogatory (which I would dispute) it is still a valid, used nickname as the references show NetherSarum (talk) 18:45, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Can you stop readding the deleted material without a official source --Jim Sweeney (talk) 19:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Users without an account can not block me from editingm, you need to provide an official source for your claims that this is an official nickname --Jim Sweeney (talk) 19:18, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS you forgot to sign my talk page --Jim Sweeney (talk) 19:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It now has four references - including one from the BBC website, two books and a war memoir - please stop removing referenced fact (for the second time of asking), or you will be reported for vandalism. Please also note WP:3RR NetherSarum (talk) 19:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes you should note the 3RR not one of the references you have provided prove it is an official regimental nickname --Jim Sweeney (talk) 19:29, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There is no need for it to be official just for it to be a nickname for the Regiment. BTW I have reported you for 3RR, see Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring NetherSarum (talk) 19:32, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Of course it has to be official this is an encyclopaedia --Jim Sweeney (talk) 19:41, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lance Bombardier etc...

I know that I can't be a source, but I am actually a Lance Bombardier, which is why I added it. However, I'm not sure where I can find a decent source. Thanks from Malpass93 (talk) 21:10, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Forward Air Control

I noticed that you have made a number of edits to Forward Air Control, they appears to be some discussion about the purpose and direction of the article. Can I suggest you stop editing the article until this is cleared up. Thank you. MilborneOne (talk) 20:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, despite my polite request to stop editing above you appear to have continued to edit, please note I will protect the article from editing if more edits are made. Thank you. MilborneOne (talk) 21:09, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Selection and training

Useful to have the input on the TA side of life, thanks. The article is needing quite a bit of work and there is probably an argument for merging the ATR article into it. My thinking is to develop some discussion around Phase 1, then talk about ITC as well.

My connection is a bit slow at the moment so it's going to be a painful process.

CMS is now TSC I believe but I don't have refs to hand. NetherSarum (talk) 12:45, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Adding {{fact}} to the end of a scentance means that it needs a reference, not that it is a fact.add references by using <ref>Insert reference text here</ref>. If you want any more help, please ask. Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk | Sign 11:27, 19 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
