Reusing a reference: use <ref name="EoA">, say, for the first use, and then for later uses you need only add <ref name="EoA"/>.

References that are just "bare URLs" are considered undesirable because they are not robust. Often enough websites change their system of URLs. If you use the Cite drop-down menu and "cite web", the URL pasted in the field, with ref name set as EoA, gives a formatted reference, when clicked on the magnifying glass icon and then inserted:

<ref name="EoA">{{cite web |title=Encyclopedia of Arkansas |url=https://encyclopediaofarkansas.net/entries/lily-peter-1736/ |website=Encyclopedia of Arkansas}}</ref>

As for content, it is important to mention in the first sentence that Lily was made poet laureate of Arkansas in 1971.

Where it is written "Unfortunately, 5 of her siblings have passed away in childhood", that is not in Wikipedia's house style. "Unfortunately" counts as an editorial comment, and should be omitted. "Passed away" is a common euphemism, but Wikipedia just says "died".

Most of the redlinks should probably be omitted. For her parents, unless they were notable people in their own right, there is no need for a potential link.

There are references from Google Books, for example:

Thank you very much for the feedback and the references from Google Books. I have updated the page, reduced the redlinks, added more sources, information and changed a few mistakes. Deleted the editorial comment changed "passed away" to "died". Hope it is better, however I have one question. As I could not find any more information which would not repeat itself, is the content in the sandbox enough?
Many Thanks, Naty707 (talk) 23:21, 17 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Naty707: I think it could do with further rewriting. For example the material starting "Furthermore, she wrote 4 books of poetry, ..." should be put in a separate section with heading poetry. The book titles should be given in italics, and normal style is to say "four books", not "4 books".
Also I saw details about the farms, and it would be helpful for the article if those were added. Charles Matthews (talk) 09:17, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
