Trying to request an article for this company: Liquidity Services

Please help me with...

NatalieMartin82 (talk) 21:49, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The place to request an article on the company is Wikipedia:Requested articles/Business and economics/Companies. Please accompany your request by some reliable published sources such as newspaper articles that discuss the company in some detail so the volunteers dealing with the request will have something to go by. Help me!

Requesting an article Please help me with... I tried requesting an article for Liquidity Services in the Business-Economics section-companies, but I don't see my edit- can you tell me if that request was submitted? If not, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please advise. Thanks! NatalieMartin82 (talk) 19:28, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Are you sure you clicked "Submit"? It must not have been submitted with this account because there's nothing listed for this account at that page. SwisterTwister talk 19:38, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

Requesting an article Please help me with... How long does it typically take for a volunteer to write an article after a request has been submitted? NatalieMartin82 (talk) 20:10, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It varies; it also varies with how large a number of sources there is. SwisterTwister talk 20:37, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

Please help me with... Hi,I requested an article for Liquidity Services, is there a way to request that it's written by a certain time? I'd like to know how the process works and if I should add more sources. The request was submitted under the "Business Economics" section. Thanks for your help! NatalieMartin82 (talk) 14:57, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, please keep in mind that the people who writes the articles are only volunteers, and not paid editors. It is unfortunately not possible to request something to be written in a certain timeframe unless you write it yourself. Regards, 14.207.218.15 (talk) 15:05, 4 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • Looking in here, I'll say the 2 main concerns are one being the information and sources being trivial and suggestive of their company website and the second being that Notability cannot be inherited from others, whoever that is. We are highly selective here and we make no exceptions; it's actually rare that companies be so significant and be attaining such convincing independent news that wasn't simply influenced or supplied by the company itself, and that's a big part of articles here (maintaining such independent coverage). Could you read WP:Paid

I noticed that you mentioned that you have a conflict of interest at [1] . Could you read WP:Paid and upgrade your declaration to that of a paid editor (if that is indeed the case)?

Thanks,

Smallbones(smalltalk) 01:05, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm not a paid editor, but I am employed by the company- should I still upgrade my declaration?

Yes, if you are working for the company, particularly in any marketing or social media part of it, it looks like this is part of your work which you get paid for. Smallbones(smalltalk) 02:22, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
