Reliable sources / own research

Hello Naphunlimited, please do not add links to your own research in blogs as you did in Detoxification. Blogs are not considered reliable sources for Wikipedia (see WP:RS for more info), and referencing for medical topics is even more restrictive (see WP:MEDRS). Also, Wikipedia is no venue to popularize your own research and views (WP:OR) - all content needs to be verifiable by independent reliable 3rd-party sources. Please make sure to read the blue-linked information before adding any further content. Thank you for your consideration. GermanJoe (talk) 09:31, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Management of obesity. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. bonadea contributions talk 10:17, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cough Wikipedia edits

Hello, thanks for your efforts to improve the quality of the health content on Wikipedia by adding information and new citations. When adding references or links, Wikipedia follows the guidelines found in WP:MEDRS for finding appropriate evidence. Blogs are not appropriate as references in medical articles. If you are unsure if a reference is suitable, the best thing to do is to post it on the articles talk page first, before editing the actual article. The material was copied directly from another website, and thus was a copyright violation. Please don't add copyright material to this wiki. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:58, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Naphunlimited/sandbox/Effective Functions Of The Respiratory System requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.flexahealth.info/2016/12/effective-functions-of-the-respiratory-system.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. --RexxS (talk) 18:43, 25 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
