Album images

Where do you get the album arts, such as the one on I Really Like You? I have been trying to find one for I Know by Drake Bell.

Hello, Joseph Prasad. For the cover artwork for "I Really Like You", I got it from Spotify. You can search it on Google Images and cover artwork (most of the time) would appear, and you must ensure that it comes from a reliable source. As for the one you are mentioning, I could not find it too, and bear in mind that NOT all singles have a cover artwork. Take "Style" as an example. Despite peaking at #7 in The Hot 100, the song does not actually have a single cover. However, album and EP covers should have cover artworks. I find this weird as, most of the time, a debut single would have a cover artwork, and lead singles are no exceptions too. It is always the last single that people get puzzled over its correct artwork. So, I think you can just let it go, and be sure to upload PNG-format files with 300 pixels. Remember to sign too. Cheers, Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 09:26, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I thought it was weird as it is his debut single, and I found it as a chart-topping single in Mexico. Yeah, I'll just let it go, thanks. -- Joseph Prasad (talk) 13:11, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
*cough* FAIR USE!. Ahem. Yunshui  13:13, 9 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Yunshui and Joseph Prasad: What's with that? Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 08:45, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
With what, fair use? Well, it's pretty much the single most important policy governing the use of album artwork on Wikipedia; I was just surprised you hadn't mentioned it. Yunshui  09:40, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Yunshui: That is because this fellow editor should have already known the fair use rights. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 09:42, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
They should, but better to teach your grandmother to suck eggs than end up with egg yolk all over her best cardigan... Yunshui  09:46, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Yunshui: You see, the editor is just asking me how I got the cover artworks, and I assumed that they know how to do it. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 09:50, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Is this official? MaRAno FAN 09:28, 14 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@MaranoFan: Of course not, it is just some random website. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 03:02, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Whatever the title is because the user did not click on new section and it pisses me off

@Nahnah4: Why did you replace the album cover for Wilder Mind with the same cover? There wasn't anything wrong with my file.

Hello, JKruger13. Number one, I forgot to add it in the edit summary, but PNG files are recommended over JPEG files, and the recommended dimension is 300px, and the size of files should be lesser than 150KB. If you are gonna upload more of such pictures, upload it in that format. Number two, please know basic talk page guidelines and click on "New section" on a talk page. Number three, please sign. Thanks, Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 08:59, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Images in general

If I find an image on flickr, if you know how those work, what search filter should I use, and could I possibly use this? -- Joseph Prasad (talk) 02:40, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Probably, but I don't know how to license it. Please ask someone else, Joseph Prasad. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 08:54, 24 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
