How to identify areas of concern in an article

Rather than using hidden comments, templates and use of article talk pages are preferred.

  • WP:INLINE provides a list of notes that can be added to a specific reference, section, or similarly small content.
  • WP:TM provides an overview of all notices with lists.

When in doubt, bring it up on the article talk page. Generally, it's good practice to bring up concerns on the article talk page. Regardless, be prepared to discuss the matter on the talk page. --Ronz (talk) 20:43, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Oud

The English name for this instrument is oud, not ‛ūd. The ‛ūd variant should only be used in the historical quotes, where that spelling was the common name at the time the text was written. The rest of the article should use the common English name for the instrument. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:24, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
