Hi - I removed this because it is a commercial link designed to sell cashmere and as such it is not allowed as an external link. There are hundreds of other commercial links with similar info, but a link to a non-commercial site with this info would be better, such as: http://fashion.about.com/blcashmerearticle.htm Bob98133 (talk) 13:58, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OK - if that link has such unique information, then use it as a reference for content in the article, not as an external link. If you ad it on as an external link, it appears that you are promoting a business. If it is used as a reference, because no other website offers similar documented information, then it is a source. I'm not going to keep taking it down if you put it up as an EL, but I think other editors will.Bob98133 (talk) 21:59, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have added a "Reference" section to the Cashmere article - there wasn't one originally. If you find that your article supports or verifies some information in the article, you can add it as a reference. To do this, add the following immediately after the referenced material.[1]. When you look at the preview, or save the changes, you will see a small number after the text, and the info about the reference in the references section. (NOTE: this page doesn't have a reference section, so you will only see the little number). Hope this helps. Also, click on the Help link to the left for more info about inserting references. If your reference supports info without being too commercial it will probably be left intact. Good luck! Bob98133 (talk) 14:00, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
