Your recent addition to Guatemala citing another view of the indigenous population percentage
Hello, my name is Phil. I was reviewing your pending edit (This article, Guatemala is under Pending changes protection. This protection is used to help prevent vandalization. It only affect unregistered or newly registered editors (the changes made by these editors do not appear in the protected until a "pending changes reviewer" approves the edit). As soon as a newly registered editor as been registered for at least four days and has made at least ten edits, pending changes protection no longer applies.
Before I completed reviewing, another reviewer removed your edit. I followed the URL you entered with your edit. I read the document and decided your addition should be part of the article. I changed the percentage to 61% because that is what was stated in the document. I also formatted the citation correctly—bare URLs are never used in Wikipedia articles. WP:Templates are used to set up the information properly. The template for citing a document on the Internet is Template:Cite web.
Thank you for your contribution to this encyclopedia. Some edits here are easy to do. Those that require citations are more difficult, especially when competing view must be examined and given given due weight. I hope you will continue working here. If you have questions, I may be able to help or suggest someone who knows more than I. — Neonorange (talk to Phil) (he, him) 06:53, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
