Stonemasonry

Thanks for the good edits to this page. Nice to see someone knowledgeable taking an interest. Not sure about your idea for a separate article on stonemason, though - what would this be for?--Triglyph2 00:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I've thought about the stonemason article, and as long as it redirects I suppose there is no problem with it as it is. --Mincan 17:20, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fruitarianism and You

Cool sub-page. Fruitarianism is something a co-worker told me about when I was looking into becoming a vegan. The whole thing sounded very extreme, but interesting nonetheless. I'm glad to hear that you are off such an extreme diet as it really just does not seem like a healthy way for anyone to live. I am curious though: do you know your blood type? A lot of people are trying to make correlations to proper diet types based on blood type. A's are usually more inclined to do well on a vegetarian diet, while O's are more of the high protein folks. Since you have tried both and neither worked, I would guess that you are a B, which according to this theory, are true omnivores. It's a pretty far-out theory, but I think there might be something to it. Naturally, there is a Blood type diet article. In any event, keep up the good work. Phauge 19:17, 13 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting. In fact, I have never really paid attention to what blood type I have. So I looked it up again last night and, wouldn't you know it, I'm B+. Apparently it's not a very common ABO type (only 9% of people have it in Great Britain, Canada wasn't listed). And this would be in line with your omnivore comment. No matter what though, I will not endorse eating dairy, even though that page you linked me says that B groups are the only ones that can thrive on dairy products. Personally though I seriously doubt the validity of that idea. But I will not condemn it.Mincan 00:05, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I'm B-. Pretty rare as well. What's so bad about dairy? Got (a problem with) Milk? Phauge 00:35, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well there's been many studies conducted showing the ill effects of milk. But you know what? I don't try to say what is right anymore when it comes to nutrition other than the established facts. I've been proven wrong many a time. Mincan 14:22, 1 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
